volunteer-only association (ABN 56 906 364 637).

The History
We love sports, and every single one of the volunteers
that make SCME possible are involved with their own
local sporting clubs - whether as a treasurer, president,
coach or administrator. We know how hard it is to find
good information & training, and we know how important
it is to find good suppliers for our sport.
In January 2012, the idea was born to hold an annual
conference and expo (right around the country), where sports
could come together and learn, share and meet useful contacts
for their club or association.
SCME's core values:
- Running an affordable annual event exclusively for grass roots sports
(where else will you
get workshops, exhibitors and networking for local clubs for $30?)
- Connecting sports in each state to the key businesses, services
and government departments designed to help them
- Championing the use of technology at a grass roots level
- Building the quality and efficiency of grass roots sports across Australia
We're always keen to hear about others in the grassroots area - whether it's
a business, service or just a group of mates doing something amazing with
